Adding narration to PowerPoint to enhance online and asynchronous learning.

Formats available: Quicktime (.mov), Flash Video (.flv)

For those who didn’t see DOECAST 4 – it discussed the importance of using various kinds of media, and of creating materials for online learning that are engaging. One simple way to prepare PowerPoint presentations for online or elearning is to add audio narration to your presentation. Just text is not enough! This video will take you through how to do this…

To best work with this, have PowerPoint open along with your web browser and work along! To do audio narration, you do need a microphone or headset with microphone like this one (1/8th ” audio plugs) or like this (USB connection).
