Some states REQUIRE Online Learning Experience
In major online learning news, in the K-12 world, some states are actually REQUIRING students to take at least one course online before graduating. Students must gain some online experience which “will require students to complete assignments, meet deadlines, learn appropriate online behavior, and effectively collaborate with others in an instructional setting.”
Students will be coming more and more into higher ed. with online learning skills which will mean less time spent on the “basics” of online learning and more time to delve deeper!
